Innsbruck, Austria in 24 Hours

Innsbruck, also known as the Capital of the Alps was a quick 24 hour stop in this beautifully charming town after we spent a week at the slopes in Mayrhofen (just an hour drive away). It's known as the capital of the alps and home to many winter sports as there are slopes right by the city and I dare say it was the perfect town to be strolling around this town after a fun packed week. Penang, Malaysia in 48 Hours

When I think of Penang I think of sticky childhood holidays, hanging with the grandma and extended family however the most distinct ones are the food memories - all the rich and delectable flavours that were just so exciting to eat in each bite. We recently visited Penang for a bit of a whirlwind trip and every meal (a dozen meals a day still counts as a balanced diet right?) was highly appreciated by the both of us and kept us wanting more. Read on to see where we indulged while in Penang!

Ljubljana, Slovenia in 48 Hours

Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia and the often mispronounced city (correctly pronounced "Lyoob-lyah-nah") is a city small enough to really see and explore on foot but large enough for it to keep all who visit occupied and interested a weekend break, or as the start of a longer weekend! Read on to see what we got up to in the city (and also a day trip to Skocjan caves!)

Edinburgh, Scotland in 48 Hours

Edinburgh, the home of haggis, deep fried mars bars and even more rainy weather was such a beautiful city to visit and one that can easily be revisited with its convenient links from London. It's also a city that's famous for their New Year's Eve celebrations, Hogmany, and although we didn't visit for New Years we hope we can enlighten for what else to get up to!

Cappadocia, Turkey in 48 Hours

Cappadocia; stunning, unforgettable and absolutely breathtaking is easily one of my favourite places in the world. Most people will associate it with hot air balloon-ing although there is a lot more than just that (although something that is definitely unskippable while you're there) and we definitely found there was plenty to love.
